I’ve had the very great fortune to study, work in fields, and live in areas that connected me to incredible art and artists.  Although I’ve had a lifelong passion for art,  I did not have the confidence to be a creator myself.  After developing a neurological disorder, I began using photography as a way to explore the world that was often inaccessible to me in a conventional way. Today, I am a neophyte artist exploring multiple art forms that allow me to express myself when words are difficult, to see when vision is compromised, and to experience when mobility is limited. I am drawn to looking beneath the surface and finding beauty in the crumbling and mundane objects that surround us.
